In this specialist route available in our BA (Honours) Business Management (Q91) degree, you will develop an interdisciplinary perspective on the management of business organisations and build specialised knowledge and skills in financial and management accounting. You will be equipped with the necessary skills to use and apply accounting techniques and concepts in the workplace, and receive accreditation by professional accounting bodies for some parts of their qualifications.

Course details

This degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits.

  • You’ll start Stage 1 with a 60-credit introductory business and management module.
  • Thereafter, for your remaining 300 credits, you'll combine the study of business and management with financial and management accounting practice and strategy, giving you essential skills that are applicable to a wide range of careers in business and finance.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements to study this qualification.

Within the BA (Honours) Business Management there is the option to study a mathematics module. Whether that module is right for you will depend on your experience and confidence with mathematics.
