For some, marketing means advertising, for others it means product and brand development. Marketing actually covers many different areas, ranging from customer support and market observation to pricing and distribution. As a marketer, you have to understand the market and recognize customer needs. Digitization is also creating ever more exciting tasks. Above all, you need experts who think outside the box and break through commercial thought patterns.
The marketing distance learning program covers all relevant business topics. You will learn to deal intensively with the operational issues of the marketing mix. Digitization will play a central role, especially in the area of online and social media marketing or CRM.

In the Bachelor's degree in Marketing, you devote yourself to questions about goals in marketing and the appropriate strategies. You will also learn to tailor your measures to the requirements of a target group and deal with the various communication and sales channels. Due to the advancing digitalization there are more and more exciting areas in marketing. Our bachelor's program is modular, which means that you study using subject areas that are divided into so-called "modules". Within these modules there is sometimes an introductory course and an in-depth course that systematically prepare you for the completion of this module. Within the modules, you will receive ECTS points (European Credit Transfer System) for each successful completion, which document your performance. These ECTS points are internationally comparable and of course recognized.
In the fifth and sixth semester, you choose your three specializations in the amount of 30 ECTS. To do this, you decide on a specialization from different areas. Some exemplary specializations are:
- Applied sales
- Marketing campaigns
- Print media and production
- Big data and web analytics
- Digital sports marketing and PR
