Our online accounting degree is designed to develop professional, managerial, and technical competence in the accounting and related business fields. Through our 100% online format, taken during a traditional 15-week semester, you will learn how to accumulate and summarize information, analyse and interpret results and present information for decision making in business. Students are expected to develop a proficiency in the general use of computer software programs, database management, and electronic spreadsheets. The program is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE)

Curriculum Requirements for the Online Accounting B.S. Degree

The courses listed here are for marketing purposes only. Students should consult the College catalogue and their academic adviser for course selection and degree progress. In addition to the General Education requirements and the Institutional Learning Outcomes for all majors, the following courses are required for graduation from the Accounting program: At least 36 of the 125 credits required for the bachelor’s degree must be at the 3000-and/or 4000 level.

Students will work closely with an academic adviser to select courses and/or academic minors that fit their interests, as well as with the Career Development Center for career goals. While the academic adviser assists the student in planning his/her curriculum, the student is ultimately responsible for meeting the requirements of the curriculum selected.
