The MA Interior Design course focuses on international design with a particular focus on interior architecture. However, you will be encouraged to approach these modules from the aspect of your own interior design practice and you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with your fellow students in online collaborative projects. The common modules are: Postgraduate Study in Context Research and Practice Creative Industries: Global Perspectives Critical Studies Creative Industries: Business Perspectives Creative Industries: Professional Presentations As well as the common modules listed above, you will be required to take the following modules that will focus on your own practice: Practice 1: Art and Design Practice 2: Art and Design Major Study During Practice 1 and 2 you will develop your proposal for your Major Study project, which will demonstrate everything you have learned during the entirety of your postgraduate studies. Entry Requirements To be eligible to enter the Postgraduate Art and Design Programme you would normally have an honours degree (2:2 or above) in a field relevant to interior design or interior architecture. If you do not have a degree, you will need to show you have appropriate professional experience and skills to benefit from the course. We may also take into account accredited prior learning (APL) or accredited prior experiential learning (APEL). If your degree is in a different field, you will need appropriate knowledge, skills or experience in the field you wish to study, or be able to show that you are prepared for intensive new learning.
