What are the objectives of this course?
- Start by gaining a good grounding in the management of international health and safety (IGC1) – foundations and health and safety management systems
- Progress to learning about the control of international workplace hazards (GC2) – workplace hazards, transport hazards and risk control, musculoskeletal hazards and risk control, work equipment hazards, electrical safety, fire safety, chemical and biological health hazards and physical and psychological hazards.
- Complete your skillset by covering international health and safety practical application (GC3).
Who is it intended for?
Anyone who is looking to take their health and safety know-how to an international level.
There are no official prerequisites for this course but we recommend you have a basic understanding of NLP concepts.
What marks this course apart?
People who hold the NEBOSH International General Certificate can combine it with health and safety qualifications in different areas (such as oil and gas, fire etc.). People with this certificate usually function in roles such as Health and Safety Officer, Health and Safety Manager and Health and Safety Co-ordinator.
