Business studies is an academic area of study that provides the knowledge and skills needed for a career in the business realm. Studies may consist of finance, accounting, economics, organizational studies, business ethics, and marketing.

Qatar, is a sovereign Arab state, located in Western Asia, occupying the small Qatar Peninsula on the northeasterly coast of the much larger Arabian Peninsula. Education City is a fairly new undertaking in Doha funded by the Qatari Government through the Qatar Foundation. It is the home to Qatar Academy, the Learning Centre, the Academic Bridge Program (similar to a college prep school), as well as branch campus of Texas A&M University (Engineering).

An undergraduate certificate is an academic program that provides students with the skills and knowledge needed for entry-level careers and professional opportunities. Depending on the school, students may be able to use the credits earned in this program to count towards an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program.

Part-time learning allows one to obtain a degree or qualification even if one cannot attend school on a full-time basis. One can learn at one's own pace, gradually accumulating credits that count towards a final qualification.
