Wind Energy Certificate Programme

Our certificate in wind energy offers professionals post-baccalaureate level training options in six topic areas relevant to the industry. You may choose to take individual courses or complete five of the six offerings and obtain a professional certificate in wind energy. The program has been specifically designed for non-technical professionals who wish to assume managerial responsibilities in wind energy.

Programme Overview

All courses have been developed by expert faculty from the TTU Wind Science and Engineering Research Center (WISE). Each course equals 38 clock hours of instruction and may be completed independently within a four to the six-week time frame.

You may choose individual courses to meet your needs or work towards obtaining a Professional Certificate in Wind Energy. To qualify for the certificate, you must first complete the required course – Advanced Managerial Wind Energy – and then complete four of the five elective courses. Note: Participants with no background in Wind Energy are encouraged to take the introductory course “Wind Energy 101” and then enrol in the certificate program.
