This BSc (Honours) in Geography and Environmental Science degree will help you understand and consider responses to urgent environmental challenges, including climate change, globalisation, development, biodiversity loss, migration and urbanisation. This BA (Honours) in Social Sciences (Geography) is one of several specialist routes available in our BA (Honours) Social Sciences (R23) degree. Half of your studies will be in interdisciplinary social science and sociology, giving you a firm grounding in the knowledge and ideas that are central to the social sciences. For the other half, you’ll learn how key geographical concepts can be applied to some of the most pressing challenges of the twenty-first century, including globalisation, development, climate change, migration and urbanisation.

The Cambridge IGCSE Geography course, along with being interesting and worthwhile in itself, is designed to allow you to develop skills and knowledge that will be transferable beyond the confines of the course. Geography is also an important subject to study as it will increase your knowledge of the wider world.
