Curriculum
The goal of the Finance, Accounting and Taxation Master’s programme is to give you the tools you need for successfully meeting the financial challenges companies are expected to face in the future. To do so, the programme focuses on expanding your knowledge of economic principles and adding to it further with specialist knowledge practical, proven approaches to financing, international accounting and taxation issues.
To ensure your ability to take on managerial positions in the field, you’ll also take courses on the basic principles of leadership and personnel management. In addition, you will get a chance to test your knowledge in business through different seminars and projects.

Chief Financial Officer
Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) work as part of a company’s top managerial spine and are responsible for all financial aspects and governance within the company. As a future CFO, you’ll be in charge of setting budgets, managing funds, ensuring that there is a well-organised bookkeeping system in place and planning the company’s financial spending and liquidity. Develop approaches to optimise financial processes and keep the rest of the management core up to date in regards to the company’s financial situation at any given moment.
Accounting Manager
Manage and direct your team’s daily accounting operations, and assure the timely preparation of financial reports – both internal and external. Plan and oversee commercial processes, prepare financial data and analyse it in order to create key figure reports for your company’s upper management. Act as your company’s contact person for banks, tax consultants and tax authorities, and help the company strategise and set realistic financial goals according to your reports.
Head of Treasury
As Head of Treasury, your main responsibility is to watch over your company’s finances. You’ll need to make sure that the company’s accounts always have sufficient funds in order for the business to continue regular operations. In addition to that, you’ll be expected to plan ahead and set forth long-term financing strategies, as well as think of future-oriented liquidity management questions. Help companies grow and evolve by ensuring that their finances grow accordingly and are managed properly.
