Curriculum
Your Master's programme, which is 120 ECTS, comprises of four semesters: In the first semester, you’ll jump into software engineering and build your knowledge of the mathematical and statistical basics. You’ll also gain skills in data science and artificial intelligence, and that’s just the first semester. Additionally, in the second semester, you’ll deal systematically with the design, evaluation, and usage of algorithms. You’ll also dive into cybersecurity and data protection. In the third semester, you’ll focus on two elective modules. Beyond this, you’ll take a look at the influence of your work as a computer scientist on society, discuss current topics in Computer Science, and analyze network systems.
You can complete your Master's study in one or two years. Study over a longer period of time means a reduced weekly workload. A period over two years is particularly suitable for those who already have a large workload or those who would like to reduce the monthly costs.

In the third semester, you’ll choose two specialisations to the amount of 20 ECTS. You’ll choose one specialisation at a time from various fields. Some examples of possible elective modules are:
