Introduction

This is one of several subject combinations available in our Certificate of Higher Education in Computing & IT and a second subject (T13) – you’ll divide your time equally between the two subjects. You will learn basic ideas and tools of mathematics that underpin all kinds of mathematical reasoning. You will also explore the profound technological, economic, political and ethical change driven by digital technologies.

The skills you will develop will prepare you for further study in which you can learn to manipulate abstract concepts, using them to build solutions to practical problems in a wide range of employment contexts.
