Introduction

Research in this area should examine all aspects of criminology, including crime patterns, causes, methods, theory development as well as crimes in the modern world and responses to criminal behaviour. A coherent research thesis shall implement a better understanding of the central issues that define contemporary criminology to allow new final assessments. The analysis of effective criminal investigation principles, including equipment, technology and procedures is also salient together with description of investigative and identification techniques besides physical evidence processing.

Programme outline

  • 65 academic credits besides a Master's programme.
  • Max Average Duration: 18 months + six months further on demand.
  • Admission is open for adults over 30 years of age. A Master's degree or international equivalent is required for admission.
